Happy New Year 2009
Counting down at Marina Barrage last night, we got a good view of the fireworks beside the Singapore Flyer Wheel.. It was just nice..
Pictures were taken from the rooftop of The Marina Barrage.
Nining, Noel and James were arrive quite early at the Barrage,and they enjoyed the sunset from the rooftop with only a few people was there..
Dewi and I was there only after 8pm.. but still, we have a good time..
We're lying , facing the open sky.. well.. it was a quite some time that we never do such thing..
Immediately our minds were flying back to the old sweet days 7 or 8 years ago..
Reaching to midnight, more and more people coming and occupied the open space yet it is still not as crowded as when you are at Esplanade or Marina Square..
Then, 5 minutes before midnight, everyone started to stand and went near to the edge of the rooftop.. I was almost squeezed by the crowded..lucky I am small enough to sneak in near to Noel..
"6..5..4..3..2..1.. wwwaaawwwww" Peoples were screaming as the blast started to colour the sky..
It was beautiful.. I can't stop smiling when I saw the blast.. in my heart, I say my prayer.. thank you Lord for the great and wonderful 2008 and hoping all the best for 2009.
